The Starcaster broke the mold of semi-hollow guitar design with its offset body shape when it was introduced in the ‘70s, offering versatile sounds and out-of-this-world styling for the most adventurous players. The Squier® Contemporary Active Starcaster® is an evolution of the original Fender model, engineered with a sealed semi-hollow body for minimized feedback and powered by dual Squier SQR™ active ceramic humbucking pickups for massive high-output signal. The roasted maple neck was chosen for its optimal tone and stability, and a sculpted heel design allows for improved access all the way to the 22nd fret. Introducing Goldie, the brand new, reimagined St. Vincent signature guitar from Ernie Ball Music Man. Goldie features a lightweight okoume body, roasted figured maple neck with reversed headstock, and rosewood or ebony fretboard (depending on color option). A trio of newly-designed Ernie Ball Music Man gold foil mini humbucking pickups and an intuitive 5-way switching arrangement combine to provide a bright and bold clarity with moderate output. The redesigned 3-ply parchment pickguard has been relocated underneath the pickups for a more traditional aesthetic. The St. Vincent Goldie also includes stainless steel frets, chrome hardware, and a smooth-action St. Vincent Music Man tremolo with solid brass saddles.
