'50s-style Pre-wired Kit for Les Pauls

Upgrading the electronics in a Les Paul^® yourself couldn’t be easier than it is with our Lollar Pre-wired Kits. The kits are hand-wired in our shop and meet Jason Lollar’s preferred specifications. This kit can be used in just about any Les Paul equipped with two pickups that each have their own volume and tone controls.

Whether you’re installing new pickups and want high-quality electronics to go with them, or you want to upgrade the stock electronics in your Les Paul^®, our pre-wired kits are a great option. We’ve done most of the work so all that’s left for you to do is install the kit in your guitar and solder in your pickups, output jack and switch.

For Guitars With P-90 Soapbar Routs

Did you know that our mini-humbucker-size pickups will fit in a P-90 soapbar rout? All you need is one of our mounting rings (sold separately) and you can install any of the following pickups:

Eric Johnson Stratocaster Pickup Set Parchment

Customize your tone with the Pre-Wired Stratocaster pickguards. Made with premium components in the same factory as our iconic guitars, this drop-in pickguard is easy to install. Simply remove your old guard, solder the output jack and ground wires, screw in the new guard and you're ready to rock with pure Fender sound. With slightly hotter output than typical vintage pickups and a powerful combination of magnets, these sonically potent and highly dynamic pickups produce the perfect balance of clean, dirty rhythm and lead tones to satisfy all level of players, through any amplifier. The neck pickup is based on a '54 Strat pickup with oversized alnico 3 magnets. The middle pickup, based on a '63 Strat pickup, uses specially treated alnico magnets and is reverse wound to cancel hum when used with the neck or bridge pickup. The bridge pickup uses alnico 5 magnets and is specially voiced to be hotter without sacrificing that sweet top end sparkle.

Like our Regal™ Humbucker, our Regal™ for Jazzmaster® pickup is based on the ’72 Tele® Deluxe’s Wide Range pickups—but with some noted improvements to the volume and tonal balance between the neck and bridge. It has fat tone with clear top end sparkle and vocal midrange. Designed as a direct dropin replacement for standard-size Jazzmaster® pickups.

Lollar P-90 Staple Neck Black

Based on the original 1950s Staple pickup, our updated version is more articulate than our standard P-90 and produces higher output while maintaining a clear top end. The non-adjustable beveled pole pieces allow for direct drop-in replacement for nearly any soapbar P-90, without any instrument modification needed.
