The Classic BOSS Distortion, Enhanced with Waza Craftsmanship

Introduced in 1978 among the earliest models in the BOSS compact series, the orange DS-1 redefined the sound of distortion and remains as influential today as ever. Its hard-edged attack and smooth sustain have made it the best-selling compact effect to date, and its distinctive tone is behind the signature sounds of a long list of rock and alternative icons. With the DS-1W, this legendary stomp joins other BOSS classics in the Waza Craft series, fusing the look and character of the original with a newly revised discrete all-analog circuit for expanded range and versatility.

SolidGoldFX Fuzzbox

Classic Fuzztones for the Modern age The SGFX Fuzzbox is a modern evolution of one of the most iconic fuzz circuits ever made, the Tone Bender Mk II. Originally developed in mid-’60s England, the Mk II helped define the sound of British rock with its thick, harmonically rich tone and incredible response to a player’s touch. It became an extension of the guitar itself, cleaning up with the volume knob and exploding into rich, singing sustain when pushed. That unmistakable sound found its way onto countless recordings and stages in the hands of players like Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, and Mick Ronson. These artists helped shape fuzz into something expressive, dynamic, and unmistakably musical. Fuzzbox builds on that legacy with a refined silicon design that preserves the character and responsiveness of the original while expanding its range and control. The goal isn’t to recreate one particular vintage unit, but to capture the essence of what made the Mk II so inspiring and give you the tools to shape it around your own sound and playing style.
