Designed by our in-house team of experts, the MTG:LA® Tube Distortion is an all-original Fender circuit. The chassis is crafted from lightweight, durable anodized aluminum, and the Amp Jewel LED gives your pedalboard the classic Fender look. The switchable LED-backlit knobs show your control settings on a dark stage at a glance.

REAL TUBE

The heart of the MTG: LA is a genuine vacuum tube, in this case a NOS (New Old Stock) 6205 preamp tube.

FOOTSWITCHABLE BOOST

The secondary footswitch can be configured to add extra volume or gain, giving your sound a kick in the ass when you need it.

EQ CONTROLS

Not only does the EQ section sport Tone, Bass and Treble controls, it also has a Tight control so you can contour the low end to taste.

BOOST CONTROLS

The Boost has its own Level and Gain controls—Level controls the master output level when the Boost circuit is engaged, while the Gain control affects how much gain is introduced.

9V POWER

The MTG:LA uses a typical 9V center-negative power supply, making it easy to integrate into any rig. Internally, a switch-mode power supply converts the incoming 9 volts to 55 volts and applies that higher voltage to the tube’s plate—just like an amplifier.

Every Fender effects pedal is crafted from lightweight, durable anodized aluminum and includes switchable LED-illuminated controls.

While they might not play as great as a shiny new high-end, precision built custom axe, their magic lies in their flaws. Every ding and scrape tells a story, every little bit of player wear and lacquer checking lends a feeling and leads to inspiration. Same goes for records.... a little bit of noise and static pops add ambiance, allowing the listener to get lost in the music while mesmerized by the rotating platter.... its not so much about fidelity but rather warmth and texture to create a mood. We set out to combine our love for guitars with our love for records and the result is the NU-33.

KMA Machines Active Stereo ABY

There’s nothing new about ABY boxes. They’re a very commonly used accessory and a staple part of many setups out there. But if they are so common, then (until we launched our passive Stereo ABY) why was it so difficult to find one in a stereo format that’s well built, noise-free AND affordable? This is a question we kept encountering as we use many stereo devices daily here at KMA, plus we know that a lot of users are just as mesmerised by the wide sonic worlds of stereo as we are. So, we made a killer stereo ABY switcher to use here at our workshop. In the process we found it so useful, so we decided to make the original STEREO ABY available to the world too in a pedal format. However, despite our passive boxes gracing thousands of rigs the world over, the Active STEREO ABY takes things a little further and is ideal for those who like to use the Y splitting or combining functions – at least with some signals that don’t always play nicely together, due to often differing impedances between connected devices.
