BUILT AROUND FEEL
Fuzzbox was designed around the idea that great fuzz is about feel as much as sound. Rather than chasing an exact clone of a single vintage unit, we focused on capturing the response, harmonic richness, and dynamic interaction that made the original Mk II circuits so inspiring in the first place. Carefully selected low-gain silicon transistors deliver the warmth, aggression, and touch sensitivity of classic British fuzz, while expanded control over voltage and bias allows the pedal to move far beyond the limitations of traditional vintage designs. The result is a fuzz that feels alive under your hands—raw and expressive, yet refined enough for modern rigs and real-world use.
MODERN/VINTAGE INPUT TOGGLE
The Fuzzbox features a two-position Vintage/Modern toggle that dramatically changes the feel and response of the pedal. Vintage mode delivers the raw, immediate character of a classic Mk II-style fuzz, with direct interaction between your guitar and the circuit for dynamic cleanup and explosive attack. Flip to Modern mode and the input response becomes smoother and more controlled, with added low-end presence and improved compatibility with wah pedals, buffers, and larger pedalboard setups. Same core fuzz voice—two distinct ways to hit it.
VOLTAGE SAG & BIAS CONTROLS
The addition of dedicated Bias and Sag controls gives Fuzzbox a wide range of feel and response beyond traditional vintage fuzz circuits. Bias adjusts the operating point of the third transistor, allowing you to fine-tune the texture and character of the fuzz from tighter and focused to softer and more compressed. The Sag control acts like a variable, fading battery—reducing the overall circuit voltage from a firm, punchy response to a smoother, more yielding attack with natural compression. Together, these controls make Fuzzbox incredibly interactive and responsive to both your playing dynamics and setup.
