Ovangkol’s warm, seasoned tone bears hints of rosewood’s lush sparkle, with greater presence in the midrange, while the spruce top adds clarity and articulation. It’s all punched up by the V-Class bracing under the hood, which optimizes the tonal output for greater volume, longer sustain, and ear-pleasing intonation up and down the neck. Aside from the black finish for the top, a thin 2.0-mil matte layer combines a rootsy look with a responsive voice.
