The Throne Of Tone is a tribute to not one, but two extremely sought-after overdrive pedals based on a classic amplifier recording in the late 1960s. Twenty-five years after Blues Breakers With Eric Clapton changed tone chasing forever, a now-classic amp-in-a-box style pedal was launched and set a new standard in transparent amp-like overdrive tones. From that original pedal, a modified, two-sided boutique OD would emerge over a decade later and change the hierarchy of guitar overdrive for good.
