Thanks to Avante's innovative SAM (Secure Array Mount) system, the columns can be locked securely to the sub and to each other, without any risk of toppling over. SAM connection also eliminates the need for speaker cables by passing the audio signal from the sub up to the columns.
The AS8 ACDC boasts a Class D power amplifier with a built-in limiter that delivers 1000W of power, making it perfect for small bands and solo performers. The flexible 4-input mixer with a 2-band EQ allows direct connection of line-level audio sources, microphones, and even guitars, while the BLUETOOTH 5.0®+ audio connection enables wireless streaming of music from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
This lightweight system can be easily transported in a small car and comes with a padded bag for carrying and protecting the column units. It operates self-contained on a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, providing an average run time of 4 to 5 hours at full charge. Alternatively, it can be plugged in using the universal power supply (100 to 240 VAC 50/60Hz).
The active vented subwoofer boasts a frequency response of 55-200Hz, with a maximum output SPL of 116dB (at max. amp output). The 8-inch neodymium subwoofer, with a 1.5” voice coil and 28 oz. magnet, is housed in a durable PP plastic cabinet with a 1.0mm steel grill. Meanwhile, the passive full-range speaker column has a frequency response of 180-20kHz, a maximum output SPL of 110dB, and is fitted with 6x 2.75-inch neodymium drivers. The cabinet is also made of durable PP plastic with a 1.0mm steel grill.
The AS8 ACDC also features a 4-input mixer with line out, two mic/line inputs, two guitar/line inputs, and a 1/8” stereo Aux Input. Dual band EQ and a line output (XLR) round out the package. And with the extended position dimensions of 13.8”x16.9”x79.1” / 350x430x2010mm and compact position dimensions of 13.8”x16.9”x47.6” / 350x430x1210mm, the AS8 ACDC is versatile enough to handle any small venue gig.
