Cry Baby® Wah Wah Info

When people talk about wah-wah pedals, they’re talking about the Cry Baby Wahs. This is the one that created some of the most timeless sounds in rock. The pedal that would eventually become the Cry Baby was first created in 1966 by engineers at the Thomas Organ Company. This new and expressive effect was an instant hit with players like Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, who have contributed to the Cry Baby Wah’s huge popularity to this day. While other effects have come and gone, the Cry Baby Wah just keeps getting better with age. Power: Dunlop ECB003 AC Adapter or Single 9 volt battery

SolidGoldFX Fuzzbox

Classic Fuzztones for the Modern age The SGFX Fuzzbox is a modern evolution of one of the most iconic fuzz circuits ever made, the Tone Bender Mk II. Originally developed in mid-’60s England, the Mk II helped define the sound of British rock with its thick, harmonically rich tone and incredible response to a player’s touch. It became an extension of the guitar itself, cleaning up with the volume knob and exploding into rich, singing sustain when pushed. That unmistakable sound found its way onto countless recordings and stages in the hands of players like Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, and Mick Ronson. These artists helped shape fuzz into something expressive, dynamic, and unmistakably musical. Fuzzbox builds on that legacy with a refined silicon design that preserves the character and responsiveness of the original while expanding its range and control. The goal isn’t to recreate one particular vintage unit, but to capture the essence of what made the Mk II so inspiring and give you the tools to shape it around your own sound and playing style.
