VNR.: KSR-EROS

KSR Amplification EROS

Samtals m/vsk

48.990 kr.

It’s not your typical boost. It will boost clean without overdrive, add a little grit, or add distortion. It has a 3-band active EQ for precision sculpting.

Use it in front to add volume or grit to a clean or crunch channel. Or, sculpt your amp’s distortion response, as you would with a typical boost. However, you’re no longer limited to a narrow frequency range dictated by a single tone control found on a lot of classic boosts.

Similarly, use it before or after the Ceres for even more control over its tones, and in order to get the most out of it based on your power amp situation.

Setup Notes

This is not “just another TS style boost,” therefore it should not be setup in that way. e.g. don’t crank the Level and cut the Gain. Start with both at noon and go from there. The Feel (tight/fat/thick) and Mode (clean/clip/dirt) switches will lose effectiveness the lower the Gain control is set.

Further, the higher Level is cranked the more internal distortion can be generated in the last gain stage, and therefore it will add distortion within the Eros coupled with a higher Gain setting. With a lower Gain setting the last stage will remain unclipped, but a huge signal will slam the front end of any amp. This can be too large a signal to achieve your desired sound. e.g. too much saturation due to lack of headroom in the amp’s first stage.

In short, all the controls will interact, and there are countless ways you can run this pedal. Please experiment and share your results!!

SolidGoldFX Fuzzbox

Classic Fuzztones for the Modern age The SGFX Fuzzbox is a modern evolution of one of the most iconic fuzz circuits ever made, the Tone Bender Mk II. Originally developed in mid-’60s England, the Mk II helped define the sound of British rock with its thick, harmonically rich tone and incredible response to a player’s touch. It became an extension of the guitar itself, cleaning up with the volume knob and exploding into rich, singing sustain when pushed. That unmistakable sound found its way onto countless recordings and stages in the hands of players like Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, and Mick Ronson. These artists helped shape fuzz into something expressive, dynamic, and unmistakably musical. Fuzzbox builds on that legacy with a refined silicon design that preserves the character and responsiveness of the original while expanding its range and control. The goal isn’t to recreate one particular vintage unit, but to capture the essence of what made the Mk II so inspiring and give you the tools to shape it around your own sound and playing style.
