To put it bluntly, we’ve spent thousands on both new & VINTAGE octave fuzz’s - in search of the holy grail! To our ears, we deemed a very rare vintage 1970’s Octavia the gold standard for its SPOOKY magic. Once faithfully recreating the voodoo of that FAT circuit, we souped up the parameters to also fulfil the ULTRA clean octave settings that are desired by so many. We can now proudly present the highly requested - Pedal Pawn® Octone™

SolidGoldFX Fuzzbox

Classic Fuzztones for the Modern age The SGFX Fuzzbox is a modern evolution of one of the most iconic fuzz circuits ever made, the Tone Bender Mk II. Originally developed in mid-’60s England, the Mk II helped define the sound of British rock with its thick, harmonically rich tone and incredible response to a player’s touch. It became an extension of the guitar itself, cleaning up with the volume knob and exploding into rich, singing sustain when pushed. That unmistakable sound found its way onto countless recordings and stages in the hands of players like Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, and Mick Ronson. These artists helped shape fuzz into something expressive, dynamic, and unmistakably musical. Fuzzbox builds on that legacy with a refined silicon design that preserves the character and responsiveness of the original while expanding its range and control. The goal isn’t to recreate one particular vintage unit, but to capture the essence of what made the Mk II so inspiring and give you the tools to shape it around your own sound and playing style.
