Designed for Steve Vai’s signature Ibanez PIA guitar, the UtoPIA™ Neck pickup features a custom laser-cut baroque style cover over a gold patterned layer.
P90 pickups are a different breed. DiMarzio’s Vintage P90™ is a recreation of the late 50s Gibson single-coil with all of the midrange grittiness that makes a P90 pickup special.
The Fast Track 1™ is hotter and more muscular than The Cruiser®, but it’s still very bright and clean sounding — not at all like a full-size humbucker. The dual-blade continuous magnetic field creates an even string balance with very little magnet-pull, eliminating the “out-of-tuneness” common to rod-magnet designs. The Fast Track 1™ pickup’s power (double the output of a standard single-coil) makes it highly recommended in combination with medium - to - hot full-size humbuckers. You can also put a whole set of Fast Track 1™ pickups in a Strat® style guitar, or create custom sets with any of our other dual-blade models.
The sound of a great vintage Tele® bridge pickup - if you can find one - is almost magical. It blends elements that shouldn’t be able to coexist: sizzle and warmth, sharp attack, and smooth sustain. In other words, it has depth. Single notes have weight and presence, and chords have detail and dimension. This was our goal for the True Velvet™ T Bridge. Controlled-tension coil winding, custom wire and hand-calibrated magnets give the True Velvet™ T real vintage sound, and double wax potting ensures that it’s squeal-free.
Tele® neck pickups are finicky creatures. Players have often complained that they’re too weak, too muddy, and just don’t sound good. The Twang King™ Neck solved these problems, and we’ve taken it to the next level with the True Velvet™ T Neck. The low strings are as big and clean sounding as they are with the Twang King™, the highs are smoother, and the attack is stronger. This combination of qualities allows the True Velvet™ T to sound both pretty and tough.
Here are the characteristics that make a great vintage humbucker: a soft magnetic field, sweet tone, perfect balance between warmth and clarity, the ability to go from clean to distorted by pick attack alone
A new generation of tone, the Yosemite P Bass pickup is designed for rich, authentic Fender sound. This seismic-sounding split-coil Precision Bass® pickup uses alnico 5 magnets and Formvar-coated wiring to create an expressive, well-defined voice that’s highly musical and dynamic, while the shellac coating controls potentially runaway feedback without compromising response.
A new generation of tone, Yosemite J Bass pickups are designed for rich, articulate sound in every combination. These single-coil Jazz Bass® pickups offer authentic Fender tone—growling lows with open highs. Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar-coated wiring create an expressive, well-defined voice that’s highly musical and dynamic—it fits in the mix with ease—while shellac coating controls potentially runaway feedback without compromising response.
Joe Satriani is continually refining and sharpening his sound. Two years in the making, the Satch Track™ Neck is Joe’s first single-coil size signature pickup. Articulate, vocal and musical, it is our most advanced Fast Track-style pickup to date.
YELLOW series preamps have been specially developed to offer musicians and sound engineers flexible solutions that meet a range of performing and recording requirements. The preamps combine CLASS-A electronics with a modern, sophisticated design and lightweight yet robust aluminium housing. Every single section has been engineered to ensure maximum potential from any kind of sound source.
YELLOW BLENDER offers 2 dedicated inputs (one balanced XLR for microphones and one unbalanced Jack for instruments). The Return socket can also be used as a third input for line sources. A choice of four balanced / unbalanced output options enables connection to active loudspeakers, mixers, recording devices and effects. A separate headphone output is also provided. The two input channels include 4-band EQ, notch filter, phase reverse, low-pass “warmth” filter, low cut switch and phantom power (24V and 10V). The Send/Return sockets also enable an effect loop.

iRig Acoustic Stage is the new hi-tech solution for accurately reproducting the full sound of acoustic guitars and other instruments with studio-quality sound live on stage and in the studio. The combination of its advanced MEMS microphone and hi-quality preamp and DSP processing unit provides — for the first time ever — a break-through solution that offers hi-quality natural sound, advanced features, ease of installation and a convenience never seen before.
Until now, getting your acoustic to sound like it does in the studio when playing on stage has been a difficult, if not impossible, task. Playing an acoustic on stage typically falls into two scenarios: using the onboard piezo or magnetic pickup system to project a fractional representation of your acoustic’s natural warm tone, or sitting stationary on stage with microphones in “the sweet spot” on your acoustic, dramatically limiting your ability to move.
With iRig Acoustic Stage, you no longer have to sacrifice great acoustic tone when playing live. iRig Acoustic Stage gives you the best of both worlds — the beautiful, rich sound of your acoustic guitar as if it were mic’d up in the studio AND the freedom to move around without compromising your sound. Sound impossible? Read on…
iRig Acoustic Stage is a patented, revolutionary digital microphone system that makes your guitar sound exactly as if it was captured with a classic recording studio setup, giving you full rich studio-quality sound on the stage.
