SolidGoldFX Imperial Fuzz II

Upon first glance at the Imperial MKII, you might be intrigued by its charmingly retro appearance. Inspired by the JEN Jumbo fuzz, which is one of our personal favorite vintage fuzzes, the Imperial MKII’s four sliders, textured black paint and bold red graphics shows you can immediately tell that this pedal means business. If a ripping, royally raucous fuzz, with impeccable manners, is what you seek in your tone conquest or whether you are chasing those soaring Gilmour-esque leads that propel you to the far side of the moon, then look no further than the Imperial MKII. So, what is the JEN Jumbo Fuzz and what makes it so awesome? JEN Elettronica was an Italian manufacturer who made pedals for Vox, Dallas Arbiter and Sound City (among others), in addition to making equipment under their own brand. The Jumbo Fuzz was their spin on the venerable EHX Big Muff® that swapped the knobs out for sliders and added a nifty germanium noise gate. In terms of sound, the tuning of the Jumbo Fuzz lies somewhere in the Ram’s Head camp - not overly scooped or woofy, with a nice gain range - just a great sounding pedal! While the Jumbo’s noise gate is a great feature and gives this BMP variant a unique attack with practically zero noise, vintage units vary greatly from one unit to another, with some gating too much and others not at all. Capturing the Jumbo Fuzz’s vibe and redesigning the gate was essential to our Imperial redesign. Let’s dive in… True to the original SGFX Imperial, the MKII retains our high impedance JFET preamp, giving the low noise floor detail and definition you would expect from any SolidGoldFx pedal. Bass, guitar or synth, stick it anywhere in your effects chain and feel free to ride your volume knob for clean-up - the Imperial’s preamp will respond. While the tone stack is carried over from the original design, a new Contour slider replaces the mids switch, which changes the frequency of the high-pass filter in the tone stack. This allows you to boost or scoop your mids, with every shade in between.  About that noise gate, this is where the Imperial MKII really shines. We’ve swapped out the Jumbo Fuzz’s germanium transistor design with silicon devices and given it an improved envelope generator, to ensure consistency and response throughout. Having fine-tuned the attack and release, not only does the noise gate allow for virtually zero noise, but it also gives the pedal a unique, sharp attack with no loss of sustain at higher fuzz settings. Align this to a nice, dry attack at low settings, and Imperial MKII will pair great with other dirt boxes too. The noise gate will even allow you to add fuzz to a hollow-body, while controlling the howl and feedback should you choose. Finally, the Imperial MKII package is completed with dual LED indicators (one for bypass and the other indicating the gate status), top jacks, true bypass switching and, of course, our retro sliders and vintage inspired artwork.

SolidGoldFX EM-III

Welcome to the new SolidGoldFX EM-III Multi-Head Octave Echo; the smallest, most powerful and by far the most versatile SolidGoldFX delay pedal to date. Building on SGFX’s Electroman Delay legacy, the EM-III manages to both echo the past, present and future. With EM-III’s wide-ranging yet ultra-intuitive control set, placing warm analog-voiced echoes, precise and modern delays, as well as experimental and futuristic sound designs, are all just a single stomp away.  Main Features List Multi-Head Tape Delay pedal, with Octave and Modulation 70 to 1000 milliseconds delay time with Tap Tempo Color Knob - for crisp and bright tape echo to murky lo-fi analog repeats Warp feature - for instant self-oscillation Wall-of-Sound Swells Glitch feature - replicates snapping tape sounds Switchable True Bypass/ Buffered Trails modes Top-mounted jacks - for ease of pedalboard mounting Hand-made in Montreal, Canada Powered by a regular 9V DC PSU (centre -, 2,1 mm, ~70 mA current draw)  At your feet (or fingers) you have a multi-head tape style echo, with the ability to add in a signal an octave lower to the primary delay head. This can result in dancing, rhythmic delays with body and gravitas, as well as bold washy soundscapes. These two core features are controlled via a single mini-toggle. Flick it left to select between 1, 2 or 3 delay heads or flick it right to toggle the octave effect on and off. From there, just set your Delay Level, Repeats and Time via the knobs or tap in your preferred tempo via the soft-click tap tempo switch and let the good echo times roll. The EM-III also sports delay modulation introduced via the Flutter control. Keep it at center position for no modulation. Dial it left for a slow and dreamy chorus-like modulation or right for a faster vibrato, letting you create lush oceanic movement, tape-style crinkles, eerie tension and beautiful dissonance. The color knob allows you to engage both high-pass and low-pass filtering. Dead-center you have a pristine full-frequency digital delay. Dial it to the left and you cut the highs, creating warm, murky analog-esque repeats. Dial it to the right and you suck out the lows for crisp and bright tape-style repeats or super thin lo-fi delays. The EM-III also brings interactive warp and glitch features to the tonal table by pressing and holding either Tap, Bypass or both at the same time. Hold Tap to increase the repeats until self-oscillation, creating a swelling wall of sound. Hold Bypass to replicate the sound of a tape motor on the fritz and a tape reel snapping, or hold both for glorious noise seances that will act as the perfect song/set closer. Additional features include soft-touch, relay based, true bypass switching with the option of buffered trails, top jacks and up to a full second of delay time. The EM-III is designed to inspire and evoke emotion. It can sound as pretty and cheerful or as dark and macabre as you wish. We invite you to tune up, plug in and immerse yourself in the EM-III experience.

SolidGoldFX 76 Plus

The 76 Plus takes inspiration from the lauded Univox Super Fuzz, Shin-Ei Companion and Ibanez Standard Fuzz. It’s a powerful, cutting fuzz with a baked-in octave up that’s especially apparent the higher you go up the fretboard. Do you like fuzz? Then you’ll especially like this fuzz. Promise. But what reallymakes this pedal special is the inclusion of an independent wah-like filter that’s as tasty as it is useable—yes, this is that “Plus” I’d alluded to... The filter section of the 76 Plus offers a mind-boggling number of ways to add movement to your tone, from triangle and sawtooth waveforms, to 2, 3 and 4-step sequences.  This filter speed can be dialed in perfectly via the speed knob or for you control-freaks, you can use an external expression pedal (not included) to give you infinitely variable control. We don’t like to “box you in,” so we gave you both options—do what you dig, cool guy.

Revv G2 Drive

The plan from the start with G-Series pedals was to recreate the tone of our amplifiers. The Revv G2 was the final piece of that puzzle… but it turned into so much more! My goal was to make our most realistic & inspiring pedal to date. That actually came pretty quickly – a great representation of our touch-sensitive crunchy green channel! However, I sent it to one of our Nashville artists. He had great feedback totally unrelated to our green channel. Rather, how to simply make the best pedal possible for this application with maximum versatility as an “amp in a box.” Then one of our employees said it would be cool if the G2 could be used as a boost as well… With these new goals in mind, the G2 quickly became an entirely new animal. Very transparent at low settings – capable of livening up your clean tone, tightening a high gain sound, or boosting your tone into a creamy lead. Then, our sweet & dynamic green channel with powerful EQ to pair to your amp. Finally, a full but still very chimey distortion tone. This was our most important design yet. The Revv G2 not only completes our vision for a modular rig solution, but has pushed us into new sonic territory we’re already seeing in new genres of music worldwide. -Dan Trudeau, President & Head Designer Revv Amplification Inc     REVV G2 FEATURES Revv G2 overdrive pedal with voicing based on Revv Amplification’s “Green Channel” from Generator amplifiers Clear, dynamic, amp-like tone Used by premier session guitarists worldwide Demos from Pete Thorn, Rabea Massaad, and R.J. Ronquillo. 3 band EQ, 3 drive modes, volume, & gain 9v center negative tip (external power supply only) Easy to dial – get good tone quickly Blue LED for status confirmation Reflective green, laser-etched, powder coated chassis Optimized for analog, digital, & hybrid rigs Top-mounted jacks Built to last – 1 year warranty. Nobels ODR-1BC Overdrive

Over the decades key artists such as Jerry Donahue, Guthrie Trapp, Carl Verheyen, John Shanks, Tim Pierce, Robbie McIntosh, Clem Clempson, Micky Moody and countless other amazing players have made the ODR-1 Natural Overdrive part of their sonic arsenal. While all single coil guitarists as well as most humbucker users and even bassists love the clarity and versatility of the full sound of the ODR-1 some heavy humbucker players asked for the chance to reduce the sub-bass end. UNDER THE HOOD….   The new ODR-1(bc) now offers a bass-cut switch under the battery cover to preset original ODR-1 sound or to preset slightly reduced sub-bass. Operation now is possible from 9V – 18V DC for more headroom, if you want it. The pointers on the knobs now are GitD Glow-in-the-Dark.The ODR-1 has proved to be a favourite with pros, especially session players, as it works so effectively with guitars’ volume controls for on-the-fly tonal changes in songs. The pedal’s wide range is controlled by a SPECTRUM control tone pot. Turning the knob clockwise increases the bass and treble at the same time. Midrange stays untouched in either direction to offer transparency with a pinch of warmth. FACTS: Analog Natural Overdrive Pedal Bass Cut feature – helps to tame the low end Accepts 18 V power – allows for additional headroom Glow-in-the-Dark Knobs Remote input jack – allows the pedal to be switched on/ off remotely (tempoary) Controls: Drive, SPECTRUM and Level Buffered Bypass Solid metal housing Low current consumption Overhead battery compartment – allows for quick battery changes Includes. 4x Mounty-P Mounting Plates preinstalled Powered by 9 -18 V DC PSU* or PP3 9V Battery  (9 V DC, centre -, 2.1 mm, ~11 mA current draw)

KMA Machines Logan

Logan’s gain structure is carefully balanced for an open and super touch-responsive drive tone, giving you and your instrument ample room to be expressive. You could describe its sound as smooth and harmonically rich, but that would be selling it short. There’s a true fire raging under the embers here, one that allows you add more hair, grit and sizzling depth as you pile on the gain, making Logan fit for anything from clean boost, amp-like breakup, indie clang to full-on rock machine. It also sports an impressively high-headroom-design (up to 25 dB), enabling you to use Logan as a very versatile pre-amp too - all of you amp-less/cab-sim players can thank us later.   But what truly pushes Logan over the edge is its 3-band active EQ. The Bass and Treble EQ knobs are able to both boost or cut your signal by around 15 dB. This enables you to beef up thin-sounding single coils, add some chime to chunky humbuckers or get rid of boomy bass frequencies, when changing from a sweet 2x12 to a fat 4x12 cabinet. In addition, the tonal flexibility is even further extended by Logan’s fully parametric Mid-EQ section, where the MID control lets you set your preferred mid frequency between 100 Hz to 2.5 kHz, while the CUT/BOOST control lets you cut or boost the selected frequency by up to 12 dB.But the frequency fest doesn’t stop there. Logan even sports a dedicated footswitch to activate or deactivate the Mid-EQ and a position-switch which lets you place it either before the main gain-stage (PRE) or after it (POST), opening up a whole world of tonal possibilities. Place the Mid-EQ post-gain to give yourself a level boost for solos or place it pre-gain to saturate your preferred frequency even more, effectively giving you a second gain-stage.Then there’s the kicker! You can take complete hands-free control of the Mid-EQ Frequency via a regular expression-pedal. This lets you make instant tone changes on the fly, as well as unleash everything from fast and quacky wah-like sounds to slow and enveloping phasery filter sweeps. You’d think the feature-well would have run dry by now, but no, there’s even more cool sonic secrets under the hood. The pedal has been set at the factory to sound stellar right out of the box, however some people might want to tweak some more options to taste. Via a hole in the base plate, you get direct access to an internal trim-pot to set the bandwidth (Q) of the Mid-EQ. Turn it counter-clockwise for a broad bandwidth, for smooth frequency sweeps or turn it completely clockwise for really resonant sounds. Removing the base plate will reveal a second trim-pot, which enables you to blend in your clean signal with the overdriven tone, making Logan transcend the world of guitar. Bass? Drums? Synths? Vocals? Bring it on! This pedal will handle it all.Logan really is an all-in-one overdrive solution and trust us, once you plug in you’ll never want to turn it off again!       Powered by an optional standard 9V DC (max.) PSU (negative center, 2.1mm, approx. 30mA current draw)   Every pedal is designed, assembled, silkscreened, tested and numbered by hand in our small workshop. We use external manufactured PCBs to guarantee our high quality standard and keep the price of our pedals reasonable. The use of an indestructible powdercoated die-cast enclosure ensures a maximum durability.

Keeley Oxblood Overdrive

When inspiration hits, you need the voice to proclaim it.  When you need that voice, count on the Keeley Oxblood Overdrive to be your beast of burden. The Keeley Oxblood Overdrive is our response to everyone cloning the “Mythical Beast” pedal. We decided to build an original design. We wanted to build a new circuit that lets players blend from perfectly clean to amp-crushing roar.  We wanted that impossibly huge and focused midrange that makes any guitar–Strat, Paul, Tele–sound incredible.  We knew we could do it our way and offer you more tone.  So we designed this pedal over the course of a few days to outdo the old pedal.  I am confident we not only drew blood, we crafted a #killer. Clean, Distortion, Fuzz — It’s All There With the Oxblood Overdrive you roll off the Drive Control and get a perfectly clean sound; you can dial in any amount of distortion and volume to stomp an amp into pure tonal Nirvana.  The Keeley Oxblood Overdrive offers you two ways to clip and saturate your signal with overtones by selecting carefully chosen diodes. These are different than the standard Oxblood.  These diodes were chosen to give you bigger, more open amp tones without a lot of compression. The key to the ultimate overdrive, in our opinion, is the ability to control five different parameters. Bass response.  The Phat Switch cuts bass response to give you that classic Screamer or that mythic, K-like midrange shelving.  The bass response, when cut, is saturated with a hint of 2nd order harmonics.  Punchy and full yet not overbearing, it cuts like a buffalo. What can I say? Clipping.  Sometimes there just ain’t enough gain in the world.  Well, not so with this beast. The Clipping Switch gives you the ability to sing with near infinite sustain or just stand on your amp like a chief. Tone Control.  You need to be able to dial in the highs perfectly or nothing else matters, right?  The highs are what make it ear candy or ice picks.  Heck, we give you the range to do whatever the heck you want to do. And that’s a two-heck sentence. Volume.  You have to be able to put the pedal to the metal whenever you darn well chose.  Voltage doubling in our circuit gives you just that.  Headroom for days.  Slay an amp, leave it a bloody mess.  No, you won’t blow tubes, but you will have them at the right temperature to make them glow with delight. Drive.  What? You want me to describe Drive?  Shoot, from “Is it ON?” cleans to searing sustain and saturation.  It pushes you.  Compels you to play.  Non-stop playing…. Midrange.  Wait.  Didn’t I say 5?  Well, the 6th sign of a wonderful overdrive pedal is what’s under the hood.  It’s masterful creation of sultry mids.  The kind of mids singers or cellos are known for.  Throaty and powerful.  Not just a woman tone, but a manly roar.  Not congested and stuffed up.  Focused and brilliant. Trifecta The Keeley Oxblood Overdrive was designed by Robert Keeley and Craighton Hale with a lot of help and insight from Jack Orman.  Jack Orman has been a pioneer in the modern world of effects for 20 years.  His thoughts and ideas are incorporated by nearly every boutique builder out there.  Here is your chance to hear a brand new creation designed to outperform any of the clones.

Keeley Compressor Plus

The Keeley Compressor is the most popular boutique compressor in the world.  With well over 95,000 compressors built in our shop we have an expert understanding of compression, limiting, and sustain.  We know what it takes to make an instrument sound like it’s been professionally recorded.  We know how to make your guitar jump from the mix. We know how to make it fun and easy to play.  Keeley Compression is how.  The Keeley Compressor Plus is the first true advancement in our 2 and 4 knob compressor line.  The new features are simple and straight forward.  Now there is a simple Release Switch that is tuned for single coils or humbuckers.  No more wondering if you have the attack or release set right.  Your humbuckers will have all the attack and punch that they should.  Our team designed a gorgeous sounding Tone Control which emphasizes the most sensitive harmonics that can be lost in compression.  The Compressor Plus now sports a Blend Control that retains the peaks in your playing and, more importantly, the proper phasing of your guitar signal.  The Keeley Compressor Plus offers the same gorgeous push of frequencies and sweetening of tone that the old comps gave you, now with the flexibility to easily handle any instrument. The Keeley Compressor Plus is a compressor with an expander/sustainer.  Not only does it act as a regular compressor, limiting the peaks in your playing, it adds more and more gain as notes fade out.  Now you have sustain.  Nothing worse than a note or a bend that has died before its time. The Keeley Compressor Plus adds just the right amount of sustain and expressive bloom to your notes. The new Release Switch on the Keeley Compressor Plus is designed to make it very easy to transition between single coil and humbucker guitars.  Humbuckers have more average energy than single coils which can cause compressors to stay in “compression mode” for a lot longer.  When this happens, any series of notes you play will sound dull.  With the quick release of the new Compressor Plus, your humbuckers remain true sounding, and each note retains dynamic attack and definition. The Tone Control is our own design taken from analog delays and other vintage effects.  Those effects used an emphasis circuit to recover treble and highs after they went through the BBD or other analog delay lines.  We took that circuit and made it into a full fledged tone control!  We have found that it is the perfect way to gently add back in those highs lost in the compression process. The Blend Control is a way of getting the peaks to come through while having sustain at the same time.  So if you want sustain more than peak-limiting, this style of Manhattan Compression is for you!  Keep all the peaks and transients with the Blend and Tone Controls while adding sustain on the back end.  Heaven! This compressor isn’t just for heavy funk or chicken pickin’ anymore.  The new Compressor Plus is for players wanting a smooth, subtle wash from their guitar.  Remove just the right amount of peaks for an ambient layer and then blend in the right amount of treble for a nice shimmer to your guitar.  Use with your favorite fuzz to create a wall of tone like you’ve only heard on records.  Looping has never been easier than with this compressor.  Consider it an essential tool when creating loops that sound well-balanced.  Forget it all and use the Compressor Plus for the best amp boost you’ve heard.  Nothing pushes an amp better than the Keeley Compressor Plus. The new Keeley Compressor Plus is the result of us specializing in compressors for over 15 years. Chief Engineer and founder Robert Keeley said, “Compression was the first effect I found that was hard to make sound good off the shelf, so I set out to create the best sounding compression effect possible.”  We have it down to a science but still treat it like art.  Since it is at the core of what we do, we can offer it for an incredible price now.  The Keeley Compressor Plus is completely made in the United States.  Come by our shop and watch the magic happen. We didn’t just start making compressors to look good alongside co-branded coffee mugs and shirts and hats.  We’ve worked with and listened to the pros who have had the the original compressor on their boards for 10 to 15 years and found out what it would take to keep it on their boards for another 10, 20, or 30 years…. Add the Compressor Plus to your rig, you and your guitar will be singing for days

Keeley Dark Side

We should all be so lucky as to be identified by the sound of a single note.  Some players are so well defined that their entire musical journey can be heard in a single note they play.  Tone is in the fingers.  Tone is in the mind.  Effects can be a great way of expressing emotions or creating textures.  The Dark Side is about creating sounds and adding new tones to your symphony.  It’s the things you can’t create with your fingers or mind.  It’s metasymphonic.  The Dark Side provides all the textures that define an essence, in one pedal.
